Kurrajong Occupational Therapy is experienced working with adults, their families and support networks living in rural communities across the Eyre Peninsula and Far North regions within disability and aged care sectors.

Services Offered

  1. Home Care Packages Program: aged care services for people in receipt of a ‘Home Care Package’ in collaboration with their Home Care Package provider as applicable.
  2. Fee for service: privately funded consultations for adults (18 years and over).
  3. National Disability Insurance Scheme: waitlist is currently closed, new referrals are unable to be accepted for plan-managed and self-managed participants only* (18 years and over).

 *Kurrajong Occupational Therapy is not currently a registered NDIS provider, so are unable to provide services to NDIA-managed NDIS participants. 

Service examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Aids and Assistive Technology Prescription
  • Functional and Cognitive Assessments
  • Home Modification Assessments (excluding NDIS Complex Home Modifications)
  • Home Safety and Falls Prevention Assessments
  • Pressure injury prevention and management

Kurrajong Occupational Therapy is committed to ensuring services offered are the best fit for your needs, and endeavours to provide alternative service provider options if your referral is unable to be accepted.

Service Fees

Kurrajong Occupational Therapy services are designed to meet the needs of the client, with service rates reflective of clinician skill set and experience, and third-party funding rates where applicable. Once Kurrajong Occupational Therapy receives, reviews, and accepts a referral, an individualised service agreement is completed prior to the commencement of services.

The service agreement includes details of estimated service and travel costs charged at hourly and kilometre rates, including initial and follow up face-to-face clinical consultations, non-face-to-face clinical work and indirect time (such as report writing and travel).
